\nHe said to him a second time, \u201cSimon, son of John, do you love me?\u201d He said to him, \u201cYes, Lord; you know that I love you.\u201d He said to him, \u201cTend my sheep.\u201d<\/em>
\nA third time he asked him, \u201cSimon son of John, do you love me?\u201d Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said, \u201cLord, you know everything. You know that I love you.\u201d Jesus said, \u201cThen feed my sheep.\u201d\u201d<\/em><\/blockquote>

Doesn\u2019t Jesus really ask the same question of us? And doesn\u2019t He ask us to tend His sheep just as He did Peter? This is what stewardship is about\u2026 Loving the Lord and tending to His sheep! By using the gifts we receive from God to further Jesus\u2019 work, we show our love for God and help grow His kingdom.
\nThe stewardship team\u2019s main responsibility is to help the congregation fully understand what Jesus expects of us through the sharing of our time, talent, and financial means. Through an annual appeal and other events throughout the year, we help teach our members and friends how serving the Lord in everything that we do is really needed to fully live out our Christian lives. It isn\u2019t just about money\u2026 it\u2019s about using every gift God has given each of us in such a way that glorifies Him and serves our neighbors every day. Sure, we may get perturbed at times hearing about our giving over and over again, and we may even feel hurt at times, but that must not deter our conviction to serve the Lord with everything that we are!<\/p>\n
